Local Farmers’ Markets

Tunbridge Wells has markets on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month in the Pantiles from 10am to 4pm and one in Market Square round the back of the Royal Victoria Place shopping centre on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month.

Speciality goodies include bread, cakes, homemade deli nibbles and fish as well as the usual farm produce.

Cranbrook holds a farmers’ market on the 4th Saturday of the month from 9.30am to 1pm in the Vestry Hall at the corner of the High Street and Stone Street in the centre of the town.

In the Elizabethan Barn at Sissinghurst Castle, only 2½ miles from Cranbrook, on the second and fourth Friday in summer months (10.30am to 3pm) there is a market. Here you can find produce from the Castle’s very own vegetable plot! Check their site for extra dates over Autumn and Winter.

Lamberhurst holds a market on the first Wednesday of every month from 9am – 11.30am in the Memorial Hall in this beautiful Wealden village.

Here you can buy locally made chocolate, deli food, cakes, and chutneys as well as honey, vegetables and eggs.
Penshurst Place has a farmers’ market in the beautiful grounds of the stately manor house on the 1st Saturday of every month and there is free parking.
